Open Question: Linear PROGRAMMING PROBLEM?
Sun, 02 Dec 2007 22:33:04 GMT
An industrial home-improvement shop produces custom atrium arches, window frames, and doors. These products are made from mahogany and maple wood. The cost per square foot of $19. The doors are seven feet tall and three feet wide and are 50% mahogany and 50% maple. The window frames use two square feet of maple and the atrium arches contain three square feet of mahogany and one square foot of maple. These items are most exquisite and double doors sell for $10,000, dual arches sell for $5,000, and a set of three window frames sells for $2,500. It takes two hours of production time per atrium arch, four hours per door, and forty-five minutes per window frame. There are four workers each available 44 hours per week. This is a piecework operation so the workers are only paid $35 per hour while they are producing product. There must be no more than two times as many window frames as atrium arches. There also needs to be between two and three window frames per door. Formulate this model for maximum profit and optimum production schedule.
I'm having trouble setting up the problem and wonder if you guys can help me out. I would greatly appreciate it!

Open Question: Any girls out there be interested in a guy like me?
Sun, 02 Dec 2007 22:39:45 GMT
Are there any girls out there that would like to go out with a guy like me? I will come right out with it and say I am a bit over weight- 276 lbs. I am a little shy and not very conversational. I am really into video games and other games like Dungeons and Dragons. I like to stay at home and what tv and movies, especially Star Wars and back to the future. I think I am pretty funny and interesting, but probably not the pick of the litter. I am also a virgin, but I am not really upset about it because sex is not everything. I am just curious if there are any girls out there that would be interesting in a guy like me?
I am 24 years old
